“The Gift of Failure” is sometimes hard to find. Follow ABW on a journey to discover the hidden gifts of failure, a theme derived from best selling author Sarah Lewis’s book “The Rise: The Gift of failure and the Search for Mastery.” Also stories about NASAs Mars Curiosity Program, a man who was attacked and woke up a mathematical genius, and a live performance from DESSA.

“A Beautiful World” is a news program that focuses on inspirational stories from around the world, featuring good news about science, technology, ecology, art, music and medicine. This program was produced by Live Events Director, Tony Bol at Minnesota Public Radio headquarters in downtown St. Paul. The program was hosted by best-selling author Heather McElhatton, whom listeners may know from her contributions to This American Life, Marketplace and MPR News.
